Holy Week 2026 in Mallorca - Processions and tradition (March 29 to April 5)
ESPAÑOL

The most solemn and visual week of the year: candles, drums and streets of the old town turned into a stage

Holy Week in Mallorca is experienced in Palma and in many towns on the island, with night processions, sacred music and a very special atmosphere in the historic center.

In addition, it marks that “change of season”: spring begins to feel and the bakeries are filled with typical sweets such as rolls, robiols and crespells.

Why go
Because it is a very Mallorcan experience: candlelight processions, traditional tunics, drums and an atmosphere that is unlike anything else in the rest of the year.

To keep in mind
Some days are holidays and the center may be more crowded or with streets closed during the processions. If you are going to see a procession in Palma, go with margin and with comfortable shoes.
