Terraces of the Cathedral of Mallorca (La Seu) - Panoramic views in height
2 mar - 30 nov
OthersOthersFrom 25 €

Climb up to the terraces to see Palma from above: bay, bell tower, flying buttresses and rose window (guided tours in shifts)

If you are looking for a “wow” plan without leaving the center, this is one of the most special experiences: you tour the terraces of the Cathedral and see up close elements that are normally only appreciated from below (buttresses, rose windows, Gothic details), as well as brutal views of the bay and the city.

The visits are made in groups, with shifts every 30 minutes and lasting approximately 1 hour.

✅ Why go
It is the typical plan that surprises even if you have already been to the Cathedral: it totally changes the perspective and feels very “Palma”.

To keep in mind
For security reasons, access is limited to people over 9 years old and it is not recommended if you have cardiorespiratory problems, vertigo or reduced mobility.

📍 Data
When: Visits available between March and November
Hours: Monday to Friday 10:00–16:30 Saturdays 10:00–13:30
Duration: Approx. 1 hour (shifts every 30 min)
Tickets: €25 (includes Cathedral + terraces + Museum of Sacred Art)

Balearic Residents: FREE on Fridays (removing entry at the box office) · €8 Monday-Thursday and Saturday

Everything we build will return to where it came from. Or it will disappear as soon as we stop looking at it. A family workshop on the ephemeral. 🌿👨‍👩‍👧

📍 Practical information

📅 September 1, 2026 – September 30, 2026

📍 Can Balaguer

🎟️ Free activity with prior registration

🌿 The workshop

In nature, everything is ephemeral: the water flowing in the river, the air rustling through the branches, the clouds, the rain… Life itself. The human species, despite having inhabited the Earth for only a minuscule fraction of time, is the one that has brought about the greatest transformation, and not always for the better.

We often forget that everything we have we owe to Her, and that without Her it will be very difficult to survive. In this workshop, everything will also be ephemeral, because what we build will be returned to the place from which it came. Or it will simply disappear when we stop looking at it.

🖼️ Around The House and the Forest

The workshop visit accompanies the exhibition The House and the Forestwhich can be seen on the main floor of Can Balaguer until September 27.

✍️ Registrations

Activity designed for families and summer schools, with children aged 5 and up. Free registration at canbalaguer@palma.es.

📍 Plaça Jacques Sasson, Magaluf (Calvià)

🎟️ Free activity — no booking required

🌬️ What to expect: Health and wellbeing

Kriya yoga combines breathing techniques, movement and deep relaxation with one clear aim: slowing down. Edu Vega guides the session step by step, with no physical demands, and it works just as well for complete beginners.

🌅 Magaluf, a place to live

The programme runs from Thursday to Sunday, between 6 pm and 10 pm, alternating open-air cinema, concerts, dance workshops, storytelling, yoga and children's shows. Everything is free to attend and no booking is needed: just turn up at the square.

Plaça Jacques Sasson sits right beside Magaluf beach, on the promenade, with shade and open space to sit down. It is where the town has concentrated its commitment to local culture, aimed at residents of Calvià and visitors alike.

ℹ️ Good to know: an open-air activity with free entry until the space is full. Arriving a little early is a good idea and, for evening sessions, so is a light jacket.

Free culture by the beach, in one of the liveliest squares in Magaluf.
