From 25 €

L’enemic is a contemporary revision of the classic “An Enemy of the People” by Henrik Ibsen, adapted and directed by José Martret.

The story follows Dr. Thomas Stockmann, medical director of a spa in a small town, when he discovers an uncomfortable truth that puts the future of the place in check. What seemed like good news for the community becomes an open conflict: public health vs. economic interests, and a question that remains current: what happens when telling the truth turns you into “the enemy”?

A political theater proposal that talks about power, social pressure and the price of going against the current.

If you want an authentic town plan, this fair brings together the best: ensaimadas, local gastronomy and atmosphere in the center.
Ideal to go as a couple, with friends or family, and return home with a good purchase of “product from here”.

Why go
It is a perfect excuse to visit Santanyí with atmosphere: you try things, buy directly from producers and stroll through the center without rushing.

To keep in mind
If you go only for “the best”, go early: this is when there is more variety and the town is quieter.

🍴 What are you going to find (the useful thing)
Stalls of ensaimadas and local products (perfect to give as a gift or take home), and a fair atmosphere right in the center.

Art Palma Brunch 2026 - Gallery route in Palma
21 mar - 21 mar

Simultaneous openings + FREE brunch: the easiest morning to see contemporary art in the center

On March 21, 2026, Palma celebrates a new edition of Art Palma Brunch: for a few hours, the main galleries open at the same time so you can go from space to space with a relaxed atmosphere (and with FREE brunch).

It is a perfect plan to do it on foot, without tickets or complications.

Why go
It is the ideal excuse to see new exhibitions in a single morning, discover galleries that you normally don't visit and stroll through the center with a "cultural route" already made.

To keep in mind
It is a “road” event: you enjoy it more if you wear comfortable shoes and choose a neighborhood/area to start (then you improvise).

📍 Data
Date: Saturday, March 21, 2026
Time: 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Place: galleries in the center of Palma (free route)
Entry: FREE

💡 Useful tip (to make your morning better)
Start in an area and make a “loop” (for example, old town/Jaume III–Born–La Lonja) instead of crossing the city all the time. If you go with friends, choose 6–8 stops maximum and the rest “by eye.”

Sacred Dialogues: Steve Dobrogosz's Mass - Ensemble Vocal Art
18 apr - 18 apr
music
From 15 €

Belarusian a cappella choir + contemporary mass with nods to jazz and gospel, in a beautiful downtown church

This concert is designed as a “double program” that complements each other very well.
In the first part, the Polifonica Choir (Minsk, Belarus) performs sacred and popular repertoire of its tradition, in a cappella format.
In the second part, Polifonica Choir and Art Vocal Ensemble join forces to perform Steve Dobrogosz's MISSA (1992), a very emotional choral work that mixes neoclassical language with elements of jazz and gospel.

Why go
Different choral music plan: first you “travel” with voices from Belarus and then comes the most spectacular part, with the two groups together in a contemporary mass that sounds modern and very involving.

To keep in mind
It is in a church, so it is advisable to arrive with room to enter calmly and choose a good place (the acoustics are part of the show).

Date: Saturday, April 18, 2026
Time: 19:30

Find Miró The magical spark - Exhibition at the Miró Mallorca Foundation
11 feb - 17 jan
arts
From 4 €

Miró's most experimental stage: found objects, “discarded” materials and the art of looking at everyday life again

This exhibition revolves around a beautiful idea: Miró does not “discover”, but rather “rediscovers”. Based on his own past, sketches, works in progress, forgotten materials and unexpected finds, the exhibition tells how that “spark” that drives his creation is activated.

It is presented at the Edifici Moneo (Espai Estrella) and brings together paintings, drawings, sculptures/models, documents, photos, objects and videos.

✅ Why go
Because it's not just “seeing works”: it's entering Miró's mental workshop. If you like to understand the creative process (how an idea is born from something everyday), this exhibition is made for that.

To keep in mind
On Mondays it is closed and they do not sell tickets 45 minutes before closing, so don't leave it until the last minute.

📍 Data
Date: February 11, 2026 — January 17, 2027
Place: Fundació Miró Mallorca (Edifici Moneo, Espai Estrella), Carrer de Saridakis 29, Palma

A participatory experience that mixes live performance + technology to create a theatrical journey designed for teenagers and adults

Odissees is immersive theater: the audience not only watches, they are also part of the journey.

The work combines live physical performance with digital technology and proposes themes such as identity, connection between generations and “finding your tribe.” Use the Kalliôpé app (from La Fura dels Baus) to make the audience's cell phones part of the experience.

Why go
If you fancy a different (and very current) plan, what's powerful here is the mix of scene + technology and the participatory format.

To keep in mind
You are going to need your cell phone (it is part of the experience), so it is better to go with a battery.

The exhibition “Jannis Kounellis. Labyrinth Without Walls” invites visitors on a journey through memory, the sea, and displacement—central elements in the work of one of the leading figures of Arte Povera. Kounellis, who described himself as “an ancient man and a modern painter,” transforms materials laden with history into poetic landscapes that speak of time, identity, and human experience.

At its core is an installation composed of nine Venetian sails from different periods, arranged like a fan and rich in symbolism: navigation, trade, protection, stories of crews, and the transformation of the maritime world. These are accompanied by other series featuring Mallorcan and Italian sails, stretched and folded over steel frames, preserving the traces of their former life at sea.

Also noteworthy is the series “Albatros” (2001), consisting of fragments of a wooden ship suspended in front of tilted steel plates—a reflection on wear, memory, and the weight of history.

Together, the exhibition forms a labyrinth without walls, a physical and inner journey that connects the artist’s childhood in the port of Piraeus with a vision of the sea as a space of exchange and transformation.

In collaboration with KEWENIG, Palma / Berlin and Archivio Kounellis.

Cristóbal Hara: 15 Instant Tales
28 oct - 2 may
Free

The Juan March Foundation presents in Palma the exhibition Cristóbal Hara: 15 Instant Tales, which brings back a historic portfolio made up of fifteen photographs of schoolchildren from Cuenca, together with the stories these children wrote based on the images.

The original project was published in 1971 by the Museo de Arte Abstracto Español through its Graphic Arts Department, directed by Fernando Zóbel. The portfolio’s design was created by brothers Jaume and Jordi Blassi.

Cristóbal Hara (Madrid, 1946) has developed a career closely connected to documentary photography, childhood and visual experimentation. After studying Law, he devoted himself entirely to photography, first working in black and white and later in colour. In this exhibition, the photographs and children’s texts create a poetic dialogue that goes beyond representing reality and instead reimagines it.

The exhibition invites visitors to reflect on childhood perception, imagination and memory. Each photograph is displayed alongside the story written by the child, turning each image into a personal narrative.

Dates: 28 October 2025 to 2 May 2026
Opening hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00 to 18:30; Saturdays, 10:30 to 14:00
Venue: Juan March Foundation Museum, Palma

A rare opportunity to rediscover childhood through photography and witness how a single image can inspire stories and creativity.

About the Exhibition

Through her innovative, experimental, and precise approach, Ángela de la Cruz (A Coruña, 1965), winner of the National Prize for Visual Arts (2017) and Turner Prize finalist (2010), has opened paths that many contemporary artists continue to explore. Her work is represented in public and private collections worldwide, and this exhibition features a selection from Spanish collections.

Stuck, the title of the exhibition, is more than a name—it is a statement of intent. Ángela de la Cruz’s works push painting to its limits, transforming it into object, sculpture, installation, and confrontation. Her deformed canvases and crushed stretcher frames create art that is intense, overwhelming, visceral, and yet beautiful, challenging conventional expectations.

The process of destruction and transformation is not merely formal but also conceptual: it questions traditional painting and artistic hierarchies, exploring the balance between fragility and strength, beauty and the uncanny.

Vista is the first solo exhibition of British artist Fiona Rae to be held in Spain. The exhibition brings together a selection of works created over the last three decades, including pieces from prestigious collections such as the Tate Museum and the Fundació ”la Caixa,” as well as a recent loan from the Fundación Barrié to Es Baluard Museu.

The exhibition layout creates a dialogue between works from different periods, allowing visitors to observe the evolution of Rae’s pictorial language and her ongoing exploration of abstraction. Her large canvases are characterized by intense visual energy, controlled yet improvisational compositions, and a constant tension between legibility, the imaginary, and the figurative.

Through different series, the artist explores brushwork, color, form, and language, drawing influences from art history and Eastern calligraphy to contemporary visual culture, graphic design, comics, and digital media. The exhibition provides a broad and representative overview of one of the most important figures in contemporary abstract painting.

Grip Face. Utopía del Lodo, Sashimi de Bruma
19 sep - 5 apr
arts
From 15 €

Utopía del Lodo y Sashimi de Bruma is an immersive installation by Grip Face that reflects on the global state of war today, with special attention to the devastating effects of conflict on civilians and children. Without making an explicit statement, the work conveys a pacifist and anti-war message through striking symbolic and visual elements.

The installation consists of twelve suspended sculptures – masks hanging from thorned ropes – arranged in the shape of the European Union symbol. This configuration questions Europe’s pacifist identity and its ambiguous role in armed conflicts. The masks, fragmented and ambiguous in character, evoke silent presences that can be interpreted as avatars of resistance or protective amulets.

Grip Face draws inspiration from news of bombings in playgrounds, using the swing as a symbol of the fragility of childhood in times of war. Motionless and hanging from thorns, these swings turn the space into a haunting environment, where stillness communicates a latent tension.

This site-specific work transforms the Espai Cúbic into a space for critical reflection on European identity, collective memory, and the fragility of contemporary peace.

Artist:
David Oliver, known as Grip Face, moves between the visible and the hidden, creating symbolic universes where analog and digital, figurative and abstract coexist in tense harmony. His work has been shown in cities such as Vienna, Seoul, Madrid, and Mexico, and in international museums and galleries, including the Parco Museum in Tokyo and the Yiri Arts Gallery in Taipei.

Individual ticket: €15

The Casal Solleric presents the project The Red Room by the Mallorcan artist Bernardí Roig (Palma, 1965), an intervention conceived specifically for the building and its “peripheries”: the ShowCase, the patio, a balcony on the façade and the Red Room itself.

The proposal is articulated as a tour with an intimate “vanishing point” - the Red Room, which gives the exhibition its title - and an occupation of the exterior spaces of the palace, transforming them into an essential part of the experience.

For the exhibition, Roig also produces the piece **The mask of the deer**, created expressly for this project and presented as an installation in the patio.

The most classic fair in Palma: attractions, games and stalls to go with family, as a couple or with friends (from Carnival to Easter)

The Fira del Ram returns to Son Fusteret with full weeks of fair atmosphere: from strong attractions and a Ferris wheel, to food stalls and games to spend the afternoon-night without planning too much.

Why go
It is an easy and very “seasonal” plan: you can go for a while (an hour) or stay all afternoon, and there is always something for every age. In addition, during the week there are usually fewer people than on the weekend.

To keep in mind
On weekends it gets quite crowded and, if you go by car, access can be slower.

If you want to go quietly, better during the week or first thing on Saturday/Sunday.

📍 Data
Date: February 27 to April 12, 2026
Place: Son Fusteret Campus, Palma

🕒 Hours
Monday to Thursday: 16:30–23:00
Friday: 16:30–01:00
Saturdays: 11:00–01:00
Sundays and holidays: 11:00–23:30

🚌🚇 How to get there (useful tip)

  • EMT Bus: line 10 (Son Fusteret stop)
  • Metro: M1 (Son Fuster Vell stop)
  • There are also parking spaces available next to the venue

💡 Tip to make the most of it
If you go with kids or prefer less noise and fewer queues, the best time is usually Monday to Thursday (from 4:30 p.m.) or early Saturday (11:00 a.m.).

Participatory exhibition on community, care and emotions: art as a collective embrace

The artist Ela Fidalgo transforms the Casal Solleric into a community creation space, with works that mix embroidery, painting, sculpture and installation, and a central piece built from contributions from many people.

✅ Why go
Because it is not “just looking”: it is an expo that talks about bonds, shelter and care, and it is very good to experience walking through it calmly (especially in the patio and the façade).

In addition, it is a FREE cultural plan right in the center.

To keep in mind
On Mondays the Casal Solleric is usually closed, and on Sundays the hours are shorter.

If you can, go during the week or Saturday afternoon to enjoy it without rushing.

Sa Jaia Corema 2026 - Lent tradition in the Plaça Major
21 feb - 1 apr
fairy_feast
Free

The seven-legged “grandmother” that marks the countdown until Easter, week by week (with a special closing on April 1)

In Vilafranca de Bonany, Lent is lived with a tradition that is very easy to understand (and very beautiful to see): the Jaia

Corema has seven legs, and every week one is removed in the square while the people sing the traditional song.

It is like a live “calendar” that progresses until Easter, with a family and community atmosphere.

The Jaia Corema is usually represented with symbols of Lent (simple food and vegetables) and a serious expression: it is the calm transition after Carnival.

✅ Why go
Short and authentic plan: you come on a Saturday, see the moment in the square and take the opportunity to have a snack or drink around the town. Furthermore, it is a very Mallorcan tradition and different from the typical fairs/markets.

To keep in mind
The event is brief and the square fills up. If you want to see it well (especially if you go with little ones), arrive with a little margin.

📍 Data
Date: Saturdays from February 21 to March 28, 2026
Time: 18:30

100 photographs from one of the most prestigious private collections in the world, from the 20th century to contemporary photography at the CIFTC (Toni Catany International Photography Center)

The underlying idea is simple and powerful: choose images that “excite”, without any more filter than that.

Why go
It is a rare opportunity in Mallorca: to see in Llucmajor a large and careful selection of an international collection, with very different styles, but with an emotional common thread. Perfect if you like the “classic” photo and also if you want to discover new looks.

Holy Week in Mallorca is experienced in Palma and in many towns on the island, with night processions, sacred music and a very special atmosphere in the historic center.
